A herculean engineering feat has put an end to a decades-long diplomatic dispute between Italy and Ethiopia over a looted obelisk. It was celebrated today in Axum with song, dance and processions.

In their first joint appearance since the party conventions, the two presidential nominees will meet on Thursday, Sept. 11 at Columbia University in the City of New York.
